NORTHERN KY UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
ANNUAL MEETING
(VIRTUAL ZOOM)

You are invited to attend this meeting. Just log in or call in after 10:00 am. Everyone needs to register. If you will be using your computer, laptop or phone to attend, each person should email Rose at libbylee@att.net before midnight on September 23. If you are going to join by phone, call Rose at 606 584-4260. Leave a message with your name if no one answers. I will send an invitation by email or call to leave the phone number on your voice mail on the 24th (if you are not able to answer your phone).
Each person will need a Methodist hymnal and the UMW purpose.
Enclosed is the budget (from Treasurer Debbie Funk) and names of officers (from Nominating Chairperson Margaret Watkins). If you have questions concerning the budget, call Debbie at 859 240-4619. To suggest names and give information about another candidate to be nominated, call Margaret at 859 512-5326. Be prepared to vote on the budget and the slate of officers.
We have been informed by our conference team that the local units should store your blankets until next year. (Now, if a local need arises in your area then you will be prepared to be a blessing to fulfill that need.)
The Annual Conference Celebration was to meet in our district this year on October 24 at Immanuel UMC. Well, we will still meet but not in person but by zoom or conference call. Ida Spence Mission is the NKY focus for our giving. Pastor Gina has requested laundry pods, detergent and quarters for their new laundry ministry. We are suggesting that each unit or individual send Kroger, WalMart gift cards or check to the NKY District UMW, memo line Ida Spence, to Debbie Funk, Treasurer. (Her Address is 6211 Woodcrest Drive, Burlington, KY 41005.)Remember, we are the host district! Encourage your entire unit to join in both meetings.
Soo…charge your phone, plug in your tablet, laptop or sit down at your desktop on September 26 at 10 am to attend the Northern KY Annual United Methodist Women’s meeting (and October 24) without leaving home! No dressing up and traveling! What a treat! Looking forward to meeting you there!!!
