Orientation and Training for NKY Lay Delegates
posted on May 11

Lay Delegates coming from Northern Kentucky District Churches are required attend an orientation and training session on Sunday, May 19, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time at Asbury UMC in Highland Heights, KY.
It has become clear how important the role is that lay delegates will have at Annual Conference this year, voting for delegates to the 2020 General Conference. For that reason, District Superintendent Susan Jinnett-Sack has scheduled a training/orientation time for all lay delegates, which will be held the hour before the NKY District Conference. It will be led by David Grout, senior pastor at Florence UMC and past delegate to General Conference, and lay members of Conference.
There were petitions that were approved in February by a difference of only a handful of votes. So the informed participation of each lay delegate is vital.
Lay Delegate Training Session May 19th at 2:00 pm at the Asbury United Methodist Church. The address is 2916 Alexandria Pike, Highland Heights, Kentucky 41076.
There will be light refreshments available during this time. The NKY District Annual Conference will follow immediately from 3:00-4:00.
