Rev. Shannon Boaz named Northern Kentucky District Superintendent

Rev. Shannon Boaz has been appointed as the District Superintendent in the Northern Kentucky District.
Shannon is a native of the greater Louisville area, yet has spent much of her ministry on the edges of Kentucky. She has lived on the West Virginia border in Louisa, across from Indiana in Carrollton, and following time at Mt. Tabor in her hometown of Crestwood, has spent the last 4 years near Tennessee in Scottsville. Along the way, she has been joined by her husband of 17 years, David, and their children Natalie (14 ) and Thomas (nearly 12).
Shannon is a graduate of Duke University (1994) with a BA in Psychology and earned her MDiv at Candler School of Theology in 2000. She also spent a year as a pastor in the British Methodist Church where she served 5 churches in the Plymouth and Exeter District.
Rev Susan Jinnett-Sack will be retiring in June.
